Material Properties and Models
There are several stress strain curves to choose from and apply to any shape
in the cross-section. Different stress-strain relationships can be assigned
to different shapes in a single cross-section. Use different stress curves
to model various materials and properties, from simple linear and rectangular
stress blocks to parabolic curves. Different stress-strain curves to model
reinforcing bars varying from elastic only to complex strain-hardening models.
The stress-strain relationships include:
- ACI Whitney Rectangle, CSA Parabola and PCA Parabola;
- Elasto-plastic and strain hardening models for rebar steel.
