 Capacity Curves
One of the most useful and rare tools that Section Builder offers is
the generation of various capacity and load deflection curves. The curves
are represented in 2D and 3D views with color coding, making the display
of the curves more comprehensible.
- Section Builder can display the P-M-M Interaction Surface for a defined
failure criterion and capacity reduction factor, as shown here.
- Use Section Builder to display Load-Moment Curves with the orientation
of the Neutral Axis specified by the user.
- Display Moment-Moment Curves with user-specified values for Axial
Load.
- Display Moment-Curvature Curves using defined failure criterion.
